7.6.13, Open Position: Post doc (RNA Biochemistry)
The department of Biochemistry and Cell Biology of the University of Vienna is currently seeking an outstanding scientist with research expertise in the field of RNA Biochemistry.
Our Faculty has a long standing expertise in the field of RNA Biochemistry hosting a Special Research Programme on Regulatory RNAs and a doctoral school in RNA Biology. The candidate is expected to participate in research and teaching activities.
The position is limitied to 6 yeares, the extent of employment is 40 hours/week.
The applicant will develop an independent line of research fitting into the scope of the Special Research Programme, will apply for research grants and participate in the undergraduate teaching programme in biochemistry.
