18.10.16, Michael Jantsch promoted to full professor at MedUni Vienna
Congratulations to Michael Jantsch on his appointment as Professor for Cell and Developmental Biology at the Medical University of Vienna. As such, he is now head of the Center for Anatomy and Cell Biology at the MedUni Vienna.
Michael Jantsch has been one of the founding faculty members of our Doctoral Programme DK RNA Biology since 2007, and head of the Special Research Programme SFB RNA Regulation of the Transcriptome since 2015. With his promotion to full professor at the MedUni, his lab now has moved from the Max Perutz Labs to the newly established Center for Anatomy and Cell Biology at the MedUni Vienna. Congratulations and all the best from the entire Vienna RNA Biology Network!
He gave his inaugural lecture today in the Van-Swieten-Saal of the MedUni, introduced by Rector Markus Müller and Vice Rector Anita Rieder.
