Congratulation to Andrés Magan Garcia from the Schroeder Lab at the Max Perutz Labs for impressively defending his PhD thesis “The role of RNA polymerase-binding RNA aptamers in Escherichia coli transcription” today!
Andrés started his PhD in 2016 as the last PhD student of Renée Schroeder before she went to retirement. He was aware of the thus set duration limit for his studies and accepted the challenge confidently. He completed his PhD project successfully and we are proud to welcome Andrés to the DK RNA Alumni Club.
